The technologies we protect.
From software to medical devices, networks to mechanical inventions — the breadth of art we have prepared, prosecuted, and examined before the USPTO.
Founded by a former U.S. Patent Examiner, our practice spans the full electrical, software, and mechanical arts — with the technical fluency to draft claims that hold up.
Over fifteen years of preparation and prosecution across software, AI, networking, medical, and mechanical technologies — grounded in three years inside the USPTO examining corps.
How we work with you
Boutique attention from the agent handling your case — no hand-offs, no call centers. We sit down with inventors and teams to understand the invention before a word of the application is written.
Strategy sessions
We map the invention and the prior-art landscape with your team, so the filing plan fits your business goals.
Candid guidance
Direct, plain-English conversations with the agent on your matter — questions answered without the legalese.
Reviewing together
We walk through drafts, claims, and office actions with you — so you always understand what is being filed and why.
Where we do our work
Every engagement begins with the technology. These are the fields in which we have drafted applications, answered office actions, and carried inventions through to grant.
Software, SaaS & Enterprise Systems
Enterprise and database software, cloud and SaaS platforms, and the algorithms that drive them.
Mobile Applications & Interfaces
Mobile software, user-interface systems, and human-machine interaction — including patents built from the ground up for app-first startups.
Networking, IoT & Smart Home
Connected devices and networked systems — including full IP portfolios built for smart-home startups under U.S. and PCT practice.
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
AI/ML models, model integration, and intelligent automation across consumer and enterprise products.
Medical & Healthcare Devices
Large-scale and portable medical devices, plus healthcare and diagnostic software.
Mechanical & Consumer Products
Mechanical assemblies and everyday consumer inventions — from deployable and retractable mechanisms to household products.
Three years inside the USPTO
As a U.S. Patent Examiner in Art Unit 2818 — Active Solid-State Devices (Class 257) and Semiconductor Device Manufacturing (Class 438) — Arman examined and adjudicated patentability for issued U.S. patents on behalf of the Office, for many of the world's leading technology companies. That examiner's perspective now works for our clients: we anticipate rejections before they arrive.
A sample of the work
Drawn from our public engagement history — described by technology to respect client confidentiality.
Multicore optical-fiber connectivity
Non-provisional application for a deployable cable and connectivity system using multicore optical fibers.
Hybrid network system
Parent non-provisional application establishing the foundation of a networked-systems portfolio.
Mobile-application patents
Utility applications for mobile software and user-interface inventions, prepared and prosecuted to grant.
Retractable consumer device
Utility patent for a mechanical, retractable everyday consumer product.
Ex parte reexamination
Reexamination requests and responses testing the validity of issued U.S. patents.
Provisional & PCT filings
Provisional and PCT/WIPO filings securing early priority for domestic and foreign inventors.
Full-cycle prosecution — searches & opinions, provisional and non-provisional drafting, office-action and election/restriction responses, revivals, and petitions to advance prosecution.
